Matheus Cunha has been a key figure for Wolverhampton Wanderers, impressing with his versatility in various attacking roles, including attacking midfielder, supporting striker, and center-forward.

According to Fichajes, top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in the Brazilian forward. While Cunha enjoys his time at Wolves and is happy in the Premier League, the club may be open to offers exceeding €70 million.

Cunha’s standout performances, such as the brilliant “Olympic goal” he scored against Manchester United on Thursday to give Wolves a 1-0 lead, further highlight his attacking talent and could increase his value in the transfer market.

Cunha is firmly on Arsenal’s radar as the January transfer window approaches, with the Wolves forward reportedly attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United.

Arsenal are also keen on bringing him in, but Mirror Football reported on Friday that Wolves have no intention of selling unless an offer comes in that they are simply “unable to turn down.”

The Athletic recently highlighted Arsenal’s need to strengthen their attack, particularly in light of Bukayo Saka’s injury. The report notes that while Arsenal have been interested in Cunha for some time, he’s not currently their top target.

Arsenal are keeping track of his impressive performances this season and monitoring his situation. However, it seems unlikely that Wolves would let him go in a season where they’re likely battling relegation.

If Wolves are relegated, though, it could pave the way for a move. There’s also the possibility that Cunha may not extend his contract, which runs until 2027.
