Wolves look set to seek a new number one this summer, with Jose Sa likely to depart. Sky Sports Austria reports Wolves and Celtic are interested in Wolfsberger AC goalkeeper Nikolas Polster, who is valued at around £1.5m.

German clubs are also keen, and the interest from Wolves is said to be strong. In Türkiye it is claimed Besiktas still have Sa on a shortlist, after previous links to Nottingham Forest and Saudi Arabia. The club signed Emmanuel Agbadou in January and have been linked with Yerson Mosqeura.

It was reported earlier this week that a Wolves midfielder had turned down approaches from several clubs including Leeds. Gomes will leave this summer, with Atletico Madrid reportedly opening talks over a £39m move. Madrid is widely said to be his preferred destination, though Liverpool are still credited with interest.

West Brom have had a seven-figure offer for Falkirk forward Barney Stewart rejected, according to the Daily Record. Albion are said to have made multiple bids, and it remains to be seen if they return. They have also been linked with Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson, while Joe Wildsmith will no doubt depart and Max O’Leary’s future is uncertain.

Aston Villa are among a handful of Premier League clubs linked with West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes. Separate reports claim Donyell Malen’s move from Villa to Roma will become permanent, with the Serie A club activating a buy clause in his loan.
