Wolves will host Real Sociedad in a pre-season friendly at Walsall’s Bescot Stadium on Tuesday, July 28, kick-off 7.45pm, the club said.
It is the third confirmed warm-up as Rob Edwards prepares his squad for the Championship campaign.
Wolves have never faced Sociedad, although recent summers have brought meetings with Celta Vigo, Girona, Rayo Vallecano, Levante and Deportivo Alaves.
The La Liga side finished 10th last season, five points short of the final European place.
The match arrives a week after Wolves begin pre-season at Maidenhead United on Tuesday, July 21. That game was agreed two years ago as part of Max Kilman’s £40million move to West Ham United in 2024.
Days before visiting Wolves, Sociedad will face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa at Bescot. Villa will play Walsall at the same venue on Tuesday, July 21 at 7.30pm.
Wolves conclude their programme in the Netherlands against SC Heerenveen at the Abe Lenstra Stadion on Saturday, August 1.
The squad will also head to Portugal for a warm-weather training camp, with no public fixtures scheduled. One further friendly is still to be added to the 2026/27 list, and ticket information will follow.
