Wolves are being linked with another right-back, while Celta Vigo have spoken about Fer Lopez’s future and Aston Villa’s shortlist is taking shape.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Bournemouth’s Max Aarons is attracting wide interest after a loan at Rangers and a prior stint with Valencia, and he looks set to leave this summer. Wolves are viewed as leading the chase, with West Ham, Porto and Villarreal among those monitoring.

Lopez, a Wolves signing for around £19m, endured a difficult start before spending the second half of the season back at Celta Vigo. Coach Claudio Giraldez indicated a return could happen if both club and player want it, though he pointed to contractual hurdles with Wolverhampton and said the player has progressed during his spell there.

Wolves are also said to admire Tottenham prospect Alfie Devine. The 21-year-old scored eight goals and supplied eight assists on loan at Preston last season.

Former West Brom forward Reyes Cleary, who rejected a new deal a year ago, has shone for Barnsley in League One. Derby, Bristol City, Sheffield United and Hull are lining up, and Albion are in line for a potential sell-on windfall.

Villa are again being linked with Fulham’s Harry Wilson, who is out of contract this summer and could be a free signing. It has recently looked likely Jaden Sancho could return to Dortmund when his Manchester United deal expires, yet Villa are said to want to keep Sancho around for his versatility, and he is open to staying in the Midlands.
