Transfer talk across the Midlands is gathering pace, with Wolves linked to a defensive buyback and a move for Che Adams.
Record reports that Wolves are keeping tabs on former 20-year-old centre-back Bastien Meupiyou after an impressive season with Alverca. He joined from Nantes in 2024, featured mainly for the under-21s, then moved to Portugal and has appeared in Portugal’s top flight. The report adds Wolves have a buyback clause and other clubs are tracking him.
Tuttosport claims Wolves are ready to offer ex-Southampton and Birmingham striker Adams, now at Torino, a three-year deal, with the Serie A club seeking about 5 million euros.
At West Brom, George Campbell’s first campaign has stood out. The £1.5m signing from Montreal played a significant number of games and contributed key goals as Albion secured survival.
Lewis Dobbin is yet to make a senior appearance for Aston Villa after a £10m move from Everton two summers ago. Following an unsuccessful spell at West Brom, he had stints with Norwich and this season Preston, where he has impressed.
