According to BBC Sport, Rob Edwards is expected to reignite Wolves’ interest in Che Adams, now at Torino, as the club maps out a pivotal summer.

Their drop to the Championship was confirmed last night when West Ham drew with Crystal Palace. Surprise wins over Aston Villa and Liverpool had briefly revived hope, but the bounce did not last.

Adams, 29, will have one year left on his deal with the Italian club, and there is a reasonable chance they will want to sell. He joined in summer 2024 and has scored 17 goals in 71 games to date.

Wolves tracked Adams during his Southampton days, though a move never materialised. They did sign Adam Armstrong in January this year with Championship football in mind, and the pair could form a partnership in 2026/27.

Adams knows the division well with 49 goals in 156 Championship appearances. Two proven scorers in the second tier could help Wolves push for an immediate return.

The picture also includes Tolu Arokodare, who is likely to leave following disciplinary action after a bust-up with Mateus Mane. He is likely to depart in the next window, most likely on loan.
