Wolves weigh up £45m transfer bid for Chelsea duo | OneFootball

Wolves are weighing up a £45m double bid to sign Chelsea duo Axel Disasi and David Datro Fofana.

Disasi and Fofana have been informed that they are surplus to requirements at Chelsea after spending periods of last season out on loan.

Wolves made an approach to sign Disasi in January but missed out on the signing of the defender to Midlands rivals Aston Villa.

Vitor Pereira’s side remain interested in the 27-year-old, who cost Chelsea £38.5m when arriving from AS Monaco in August 2023. The West Londoners will reportedly demand a fee in the region of £25m to £30m for the centre-back.

Wolves target Fofana and Disasi deals

Journalist Sebastien Vidal has claimed that Wolves are also interested in Fofana. The Ivorian forward has made three league appearances for Chelsea since joining from Molde in January 2023.

Fofana spent last season on loan Turkish side Göztepe and scored twice in nine appearances. He returned to Stamford Bridge early after injury curtailed his campaign.

Wolves are admirers of the 22-year-old and are keen to bring in competition and cover for Jorgen Strand Larsen in attack.
