Benjamin Sesko believes believes Manchester United are working harder under Michael Carrick than under former manager Ruben Amorin.
Manchester United continued their perfect start under interim coach Carrick, with a dramatic 3-2 win over Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday. Sesko's stoppage-time strike secured the points, after Fulham had come back from two goals down to equalise.
Casemiro and Matheus Cunha had put an improvedManchester United in control inside the opening hour, though familiar flaws resurfaced as Fulham threatened to spoil the mood.
Raul Jimenez reduced the deficit from the penalty spot, before Kevin's equaliser levelled late on.
Sesko's thumping 94th-minute effort ultimately ensured United's upturn continues, with the win lifting the Red Devils back into the Champions League places.
The result was a third successivePremier League win for Manchester United under Carrick, after successes against Manchester City and Arsenal.
Asked what Carrick has brought to the team, Sesko said there has been a clear increase in work rate.
"It's true, he has said these things (to play with freedom) many times to the team. That's exactly what we are doing," the Slovenian striker said toSky Sports.
"But it's not just that, you can see how much we work hard for each other without the ball and that also contributes to good results in the end.
"The work rate is definitely different. Everyone is on point and covering their spaces. In the end, that's what counts.
"The aim is to continue like this. We want to focus on our work and what we have to do. We have work hard like we are and focus in every moment. All of this is going to lead to great results."
