Despite their elimination, Gambia finished first in the ranking of the most prolific attacks after 10 matchdays of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The Scorpions outperformed other teams that have secured a place in the finals, including Ivory Coast (25 goals), Algeria (24 goals), and Ghana (23 goals), who are tied with Burkina Faso.
South Africa (15 goals) is the side with the lowest goal tally among the nine nations that have qualified for the final tournament.
Among the least prolific teams, we find Mauritania and Congo with 4 goals, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Somalia with 3 goals each, and Seychelles with just two strikes.
