Achraf Hakimi was booed by Scotland fans whenever he touched the ball during Scotland v Morocco in Foxborough at the World Cup.
On Friday, the Versailles Court of Appeal said in a statement that the PSG defender will stand trial for rape.

Investigations during the inquiry led the investigating chamber to rule that there were sufficient charges against Mr Achraf Hakimi, which justified referral to the Hauts-de-Seine criminal court.
The fixture was the second group game for both nations.
The player had contested the decision and had sought a dismissal.
