Ryan Reynolds has unveiled Inter Bogotá’s new kit and crest after the club’s rebrand from La Equidad. In an Instagram video he unboxed a package and wore the white and gold shirt.

La Equidad was bought in January 2025 by the Tylis-Porter Group for between £11m and £15m, whose investors include Reynolds, Rob Mac, Eva Longoria, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander. According to Forbes, president Nicolás Maya said the club are building a more experienced squad, plan greater investment in the women’s team, and are developing a city brand backed by local authorities.

The Bogotá side adopted the name Internacional de Bogotá in December as part of a push to modernise and widen its global reach. The crest marks a full break from La Equidad’s identity.

Long-serving coach Alexis García has been dismissed, with Argentine Ricardo Valiño taking over and leading an international staff. Officials have begun an overhaul to professionalise operations and build a sustainable model.

Inter Bogotá are preparing for their first season under the new name in 2026. Their opening match is expected at Cali’s Pascual Guerrero Stadium against América, though Liga BetPlay Dimayor dates and kick-off times are yet to be confirmed.

Reynolds also attended Wrexham’s FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest, and the Red Dragons will now host Ipswich Town. He was joined by his mum Tammy.
