Yamal Gets 9.5, Garcia With 8 | Barcelona Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Inter Milan

Barcelona clashed heads with Inter Milan at San Siro earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie. The Catalan club made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 21st minute when Lisandro Martinez found the back of the net. Inter doubled their advantage in the 45th minute thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Eric Garcia got a goal back for Barcelona in the 54th minute before Dani Olmo equalised for the visitors just six minutes later. Raphinha gave the Catalan giants the lead in the 87th minute but Francesco Acerbi equalised for Inter in injury time which took the game to extra time.
Inter regained the lead in the 99th minute when Davide Frattesi scored with a great finish. Barcelona failed to make a comeback and crashed to a tough 4-3 loss on the night (7-6 on aggregate).
GK: Wojciech Szczęsny – 6/10
Szczesny made a few solid saves during the game but conceded four times tonight.
RB: Eric Garcia – 8/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and managed to score in the 54th minute.
CB: Pau Cubarsi – 6/10
Cubarsi made a few important interceptions at the back but failed to keep things solid inside his half.
CB: Inigo Martinez – 6/10
He did his fair share of defending but it was not enough tonight.

LB: Gerard Martin – 8/10
He performed his defensive duties well and made some decent chances in the final third. Martin has got two assists to show for his efforts.
CM: Frenkie De Jong – 6.5/10
De Jong helped his teammates out at the back when he could but failed to make a difference in the Inter half.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
Pedri caught the eye at times in the middle of the park but struggled to threaten the opposition goal.
RW: Lamine Yamal – 9.5/10
He made a plethora of dangerous runs with the ball and did everything but score tonight.
CAM: Dani Olmo – 7.5/10
Olmo caused a few headaches for the Inter defenders and managed to equalise for Barcelona at the hour mark.
LW: Raphinha – 7.5/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and was responsible for giving Barca the lead in the 87th minute.
ST: Ferran Torres – 6/10
Torres was quiet for most of his time on the field. He was replaced in the 90th minute.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 6/10
He failed to keep things solid at the back.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 6/10
Lewandowski missed a great chance to equalise.
RB: Hector Fort – 6/10
