Yuri Alberto overtook Arrascaeta in the G-12 scoring list after netting Corinthians’ second in the 2-0 Supercopa do Brasil win over Flamengo.

The victory at Estádio Mané Garrincha on Sunday secured Corinthians a second triumph in the competition. Meu Timao notes it also marked a significant career milestone for the striker.

That goal took him to 18 against G-12 opposition since 2025, ahead of Arrascaeta on 17. Kaio Jorge leads with 20.

His haul comprises five against Santos, four against Palmeiras, three against Internacional, and two each versus Vasco da Gama, São Paulo and Flamengo.

He finished 2025 as Corinthians’ top scorer with 19, and has already scored three this year.

Corinthians host Capivariano on Thursday at Neo Química Arena at 20:30. The striker is expected to be rested due to a virus, with the expectation that he will be involved against Palmeiras on Sunday.
