Thiago Silva hasn't worn the Brazil shirt since December 2022, when Brazil was knocked out by Croatia in the World Cup quarter-finals in Qatar. But the former PSG and Chelsea player, now back at Fluminense, is still dreaming of one last adventure with the Seleção. Speaking to Brazilian channel Premiere, the veteran discussed what he sees as the perfect scenario for the end of his career.

"I'm available for Carlo Ancelotti. If he wants to call me up, I'll be there with pleasure. And if he doesn't select me, life goes on. But of course, another World Cup would be something special. Especially knowing that my contract with Fluminense ends at the conclusion of the tournament... Just imagine, finishing my career by winning the World Cup! That would be a wonderful ending," he revealed after Tricolor's victory over Atlético Mineiro (3-0).

The final decision rests with Carlo Ancelotti.
