Liverpool have come very close in recent weeks to a full-blown selection crisis down their right-hand side.
Conor Bradley was first injured and then suspended at right-back - while his replacement Joe Gomez is now laid up with injury too.
Further forward and Mohamed Salah’s recent issues have been well-documented. And the player Arne Slot has chosen as his replacement of late - Dominik Szoboszlai - suffered an ankle injury last week.
It’s a good thing therefore that Jeremie Frimpong is coming back into the fold.
According to various reports the 25-year-old Dutchman will end a two-month injury absence when Liverpool face Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.

Frimpong hasn’t played since suffering a second hamstring injury of his debut season at Anfield following a £29m move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
That latest blow came in the Champions League away game against Frankfurt in October - with the Netherlands’ international only managing FOUR Premier League appearances thus far.
In the time since he’s been away Liverpool have switched it up from their usual 4-2-3-1 setup.
Instead Arne Slot has gone for a diamond midfield - and happily for Frimpong he looks tailor-made for any solutions the head coach will reach for over the coming weeks.
A report in the Athletic points out that the width in the latest formation change needs to come from the full-backs - which has been evidenced by Milos Kerkez’s recent upturn in form.

It’s only natural that a wing-back like Frimpong would follow suit if Slot opts to use him instead of Gomez on Saturday or else in matches going forward.
And with Salah away at the Africa Cup of Nations there is also the option of switching back to a winger system - with Frimpong the perfect choice to replace the Egyptian King in the attack.
With Frimpong’s return to fitness it could spell the end of Slot experiments with Dominik Szoboszlai either at right-back or on the right wing.
The former Celtic full-back’s availability would then allow the Hungary captain to be freed up for duties in-field - where he can cause so much more damage.
It’ll be like having two new signings when Frimpong comes back in - and let’s hope we see him back to his marauding best starting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.
