Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah now holds the fifth spot in the all-time list of Liverpool players with the most Premier League appearances, according to stats from specialist site Transfermarkt.

The captain of the Egyptian national team recently made his return to action for the Reds, coming off the bench last Saturday in the clash against Brighton on Matchday 16, under the guidance of Dutch manager Arne Slot.

Topping this prestigious list is former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, who featured in 508 Premier League games for the Merseyside club. He is followed by club legend Steven Gerrard, second with 504 appearances, and former captain Jordan Henderson, who sits third with 360 matches.

Finnish stalwart Sami Hyypiä takes fourth place with 318 games. Mohamed Salah stands fifth with 302 appearances, further cementing his status as an iconic figure and underlining his lasting impact in the club’s recent history.
