AC MILAN LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER JUNIOR CAMP IN SOUTH AFRICA | OneFootball

AC Milan is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever Milan Junior Camp in South Africa, set to take place from 6 to 13 October, at Discovery Soccer Park - Wanderers Sports Club in Sandton, Johannesburg.

This landmark initiative will deliver a week of elite training and personal growth opportunities for young footballers, organized in collaboration with Vessels of Virtue, a dynamic social enterprise committed to empowering women, youth, and communities through healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, and sports. By providing opportunities for skill development, mentorship, and active engagement, the organization fosters resilience, promotes healthy lifestyles, and nurtures the next generation of leaders and athletes.

The Camp marks an important milestone in AC Milan's journey to share its football philosophy and values across Africa, fostering youth development, creating opportunities, and strengthening cultural connections through the universal language of sport. Scholarships and sponsorships will also be offered to ensure talented boys and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds can access this unique and transformative experience.

Open to participants aged 9 to 18, the Milan Junior Camp will provide a fully immersive program led by AC Milan's official coaches. Following the renowned AC Milan Method, young players will have the chance to improve their technical skills, teamwork, and personal growth in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment.

To broaden its impact, the project will involve local football entities, associations, and federations, helping to strengthen grassroots infrastructures across Southern Africa. Dedicated workshops for local coaches will also be held to share advanced methodologies and leave a lasting legacy for the region's football development.
