As reported by Florian Plettenburg, Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is one of Manchester United’s dream targets next summer.
The Canadian international has been highly linked with a move away from Bavaria next summer with Real Madrid strongly connected to a potential transfer.
It has previously been reported that Davies had reached an agreement with Real Madrid. However, GGFN can confirm that the player’s entourage has denied the claims that the Canadian will join the Spanish giants in January.
“This is not true,” Nedal Huoseh, the agent of Davies, told Philipp Kessler:
“Though the player has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club. Bayern could also be an option. Any reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect.”
Talks between Davies and the Bundesliga club appear to be at a standstill, but given Huoseh’s recent comments, it still can’t be entirely ruled out that Davies will stay in Bavaria in 2025.
Manchester United are now seeking to tempt the 23-year-old away from the Bundesliga and to the Premier League.
The Red Devils have been gathering information on the player for some time and would be their desired left-back for next season.
What’s more, in recent months the club have made an informal inquiry with Davies’ representatives.
It’s yet unknown what Davies’ next move will be.
