Manchester United loanee Radek Vitek impressed once again despite ending up on the losing side as FC Blau-Weiß Linz fell to a 1-2 defeat at home to Grazer AK.
The Czech keeper has made himself an ever-present in the starting line up of Gerald Scheiblehner’s side.
The 21 year old has made 10 appearances in all competitions, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
BW Linz dominated the play with 64% of the ball and they had 14 shots on goal in comparison to the victors’ 11.
Vitek did concede two goals but still impressed as he was given a rating on Sofascore of 7.4.
In 90 minutes he made five saves and one of those stops came from a shot inside the box.He also demonstrated his sweeping ability as he rushed off the line to make one clearance for his team.
The keeper once compared to Peter Schmeichel, also showed off his growing ability on the ball.
Last season at Accrington Stanley, he had little chance to impress in possession but he has added this feature to his game at BW Linz. He made 31 passes, completing 19 out of 22 passes for a completion rate of 86%.
Vitek also connected with four out of his seven long ball attempts as he aimed to launch an attack for his side.
Despite the defeat, the Czech youth international can be happy with his performances as he has the third best clean sheet ratio in the Austrian Bundesliga as 37.5% of his games have ended up with a clean sheet.
He is also only two from leading the race for the golden glove award equivalent in Austria.
The United youngster will next be in action when they travel to Rapid Wien next Sunday.
