Alvaro Arbeloa, leaving Real Madrid, pays Instagram tribute to Kylian Mbappé

Alvaro Arbeloa, leaving Real Madrid, has posted a warm Instagram tribute to Kylian Mbappé. According to L'Équipe, the Spanish coach arrived in January and his departure was confirmed this week.

On Saturday Real Madrid beat Athletic Bilbao 4-2 on the final day of La Liga, with Mbappé scoring twice to reach 42 goals in 44 matches in all competitions.

After the match, Mbappé thanked his coach and wished him well. He posted alongside Dani Carvajal and David Alaba, who are also leaving.

The following day Arbeloa shared an Instagram story addressed to Mbappé. He thanked the forward and said he would always be proud to have coached a uniquely gifted player.

The message added that difficult periods pass and strong people remain, before looking ahead to the future. Mbappé should finish as La Liga's top scorer again.
