Arokodare set for Wolves exit as Trabzonspor submit loan offer | OneFootball

Tolu Arokodare is set to leave Wolves this summer after Trabzonspor submitted a loan offer, with talks under way.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the clubs are discussing a potential deal and his representatives are involved, although no agreement has been reached.

The Nigerian international joined last summer for up to £24million but struggled to adapt to English football, scoring six in 38, including just three in the Premier League.

A loan is the most likely outcome, with Wolves unlikely to get a big enough offer to sell and unlikely to accept a significant loss a year on.

Arokodare has reported back at Compton for pre-season training this week despite the expectation of a move during the window.

Last season he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane after the 4-0 defeat at West Ham, and was fined heavily as the sole aggressor.

Staff and players were particularly angered by his behaviour at the time, during Rob Edwards' spell in charge.
