Brentford v Burnley - Saturday 15:00

Brentford will have too much for Burnley, particularly at home. Last time out the Bees were a tad unlucky, they missed a penalty. Igor Thiago had a penalty first half, scored, but then missed one with the last kick of the game, but I still think they'll have too much for Burnley. If it was at Burnley, I'd say it would be a more difficult game, but because it's at Brentford, I can only see Keith Andrews' team winning.

With Burnley it's no different to what I thought, or what most people thought. The only surprise with the teams that have come up has been Sunderland. I expected Burnley to be in a relegation battle. I guess the manager did. I expected Leeds to be in a relegation battle. So nothing really surprises me.

Alan's Prediction:? ? Brentford Win

Manchester City v Leeds - Saturday 15:00

If you want any game after two defeats, then you would want Leeds at home, and City have got that. I can't see Leeds coming away with anything - I'd be amazed if they did. For Leeds, I think the defeat to Villa at home was a big blow, because of the games that are coming up for them. If they got something out of that, draw or a win, then it might have been different, but I just think that piles more pressure on them in terms of the next three games.

Sunderland v Bournemouth - Saturday 15:00

Sunderland, in their game last weekend at Fulham, didn't play that well and it was a poor result for them to lose 1-0. I guess because of how well they've done it's slightly different in terms of thinking how and where they should be, so you're now seeing it as a poor result being beaten away from home.

That Sunderland were disappointed about getting beaten at Fulham tells you how well Sunderland done so far this season and now they've got the ideal opportunity to bounce back at home. They'll be full of confidence, but Bournemouth can punish you, particularly when you're at home. The responsibility will be on Sunderland to attack, and the fans will want that, and it'll be a great atmosphere again. That may work against them with a really tricky Bournemouth side, particularly in forward positions. I think they might punish them on the break, and so I'm going to go for a Bournemouth win.

Alan's Prediction:? ? Bournemouth Win

Everton v Newcastle - Saturday 17:30, Live on Sky Sports

I think Eddie will make changes again, revert back to Livramento and Hall and bring Woltemade back into the team. But this is a tough one to call, because Everton got a great result with 10 men at Old Trafford for a long part of the game. Idrissa Gueye will be out suspended.

Away from home Newcastle have really disappointed. Their home form is excellent but I've said before about when you're being rolled in front of your own fans at home, it's difficult, you can't give anything but 100%. When you drop a fraction in football, we know the difference that can make. They've made too many errors away from home, that's one of the reasons why they haven't had the results and have been really poor. That has to change if they're going to start climbing the table and we saw what they're capable of last week against Manchester City.

Now, they need to put that in again. Just because it's against Everton, just because it's away from home shouldn't make any difference. I'm looking for them to replicate the energy that they showed against Man City. This one will be really tight, so I'm going to go for a draw.

Alan's Prediction:? ? Draw

Tottenham v Fulham - Saturday 20:00, Live on Sky Sports

Spurs got battered in the north London derby. Thomas Frank played the wrong system, it was one of those where if you're going get beat, then you've got to go down fighting and they didn't really. He changed his system against PSG, went in with a more traditional 4-4-2, scored three goals but conceded five. They went down fighting, at least, against the European champions. I guess he'll stick to a similar system because they can't be as timid as they were against Arsenal last weekend, so I'm going for a home win.

Crystal Palace v Man United - Sunday 12:00, Live on TNT Sports

This is the battle of the three or five at the back, with the two wing-backs. Both teams play that system, and it's working well for Crystal Palace. This is a really tough game for United on the back of a really poor performance against Everton.

United have injuries, Cunha was out the other day and Zirkzee came in, and it didn't really work for them, but they're going to lose players anyway when the African Cup Nation comes along. They're going to have to cope with that and that's where it will be tough to get consistency. Amorim will want to forget about the defeat to Everton, but that's easier said than done. It happened, and they were really poor, and they've now got the chance to get it out of their system against Palace. That's how they get around it, getting the right result again, but I'm not sure they will.

Palace are flying, they're fifth in the league and they've got some really good players. Their trip away in Europe on Thursday night may hinder them. But I'm going to go for a home win, because I think they're an excellent side.

Aston Villa v Wolves - Sunday 14:05, Live on Sky Sports

Wolves were looking for a new manager bounce last weekend against Palace, but I guess a touch of reality must have set in for Rob Edwards, in terms of being at home and getting beaten the way they did against the Eagles.

I'd be amazed if Wolves get something here, but you never know in derby games. I guess if you are on a run like this and go and win a game, then it would be a derby game, because strange things happen in those matches. But I'm not sure I can see that happening at Villa Park, and I think Villa will have too much for Wolves, even if Unai Emery's team have been playing in Europe.

It won't be long before Wolves fans are looking at Derby Countys lowest Premier League points record, and what I've seen from Wolves is that there is a danger that record could go. Wolves have taken two points and scored seven goals in 12 games. You'd have to be pretty awful to break Derby's record, but I've not seen anything yet in Wolves to tell me that they could avoid it.

Nottingham Forest v Brighton - Sunday 14:05, Live on Sky Sports

Brighton won last weekend, albeit due to Brentford missing the penalty. Forest went to Liverpool and won 3-0. I think Forest will try and entice them onto them, especially with the way they're playing, they will try to hit them on the break.

Brighton have done ok, but with the job that Sean Dyche is doing, the result last weekend, and the belief and the confidence they'll get from that, I'm going to go for a home win.

You get the feeling that it should have been Dyche replacing Nuno, when instead it was Postecoglu, because it's Dyche's sort of team, his sort of set-up. Already the players are responding, so he's doing a great job.

West Ham v Liverpool - Sunday 14:05, Live on Sky Sports

I haven't got a clue what to expect from Liverpool. Well, I should do, actually, because they're going to concede goals, and the worrying thing is the manner of their defeats. It gives me no confidence to say that they could go to West Ham and win.

West Ham went 2-0 up at Bournemouth and threw the two-goal lead away. They got a point in the end, but they got battered in the second half at Bournemouth.

I'm not confident, but I'll go for Liverpool away a win.

Chelsea v Arsenal - Sunday 16:30, Live on Sky Sports

This has all the ingredients of being a great game. I was hugely impressed with Chelsea against Barcelona, but I've been massively impressed with Arsenal all season, in every competition.

Chelsea have had an extra day's rest and that might factor into it, but I just think because of how good Arsenal are, and how they can rotate and make one or two changes without it impacting them, I'm going to say Arsenal will go there and win.
