AS Monaco and OGC Nice interested in Anderlecht’s Mario Stroeykens

AS Monaco and OGC Nice feature among the sides interested in Anderlecht midfielder Mario Stroeykens (21), according to a report from L’Équipe.
Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro has previously said that the club are looking to recruit further this January, even if they must do so with limited means. Consequently, the Principality club are attentive to market opportunities, and Stroeykens may represent just that.
The Belgo-Congolese attacking midfielder is under contract until 2028, however, muscular injuries have limited his minutes in recent weeks. He has nonetheless played 22 games for the Belgian side, scoring once and registering an assist in that time.
However, Monaco may have to contend with competition, including from their most local rivals, OGC Nice, who are looking to strengthen in order to stave off relegation. In Serie A, Parma and Torino are interested, whilst there is also an unnamed English club in the mix, as per L’Équipe.
