AS Monaco face fresh injury concerns after the 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat by Lyon, with Lukas Hradecky and Christian Mawissa both coming off injured. The pair could miss several matches. Sébastien Pocognoli lost both players during the 17th round on Saturday afternoon.

Hradecky departed on 12 minutes following a knee collision, having briefly tried to continue after on-pitch tests with Doctor Alexandre Creuzé. According to Nice-Matin, the Finland keeper has sustained a knee sprain, this time in his right knee rather than his left.

No timeline has been communicated, and his absence could run to several weeks or even months, as the same injury kept him out from August to mid-November earlier this season.

Mawissa was withdrawn on 36 minutes with a right hamstring problem. Whether it is a relapse is unclear, though the 20-year-old has already missed several matches this season with the same issue in the same leg.

In a further blow, young Pape Cabral also suffered a hamstring injury during the week and could be out for around two months.
