AS Monaco target young City Group prospect | OneFootball

AS Monaco are interested in ESTAC Troyes forward Mathys Detourbet (18), according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins. 

Detourbet has come through the ranks at Troyes, a team that is part of the City Group. A France youth international, he has played 16 games in Ligue 2 this season, registering two assists in that time. L’Estac currently top the Ligue 2 table at the midway mark. They have a five-point gap to second-placed AS Saint-Étienne.

However, they could see one of their brightest prospects depart in the near future. He features highly on Monaco’s shortlist, Hawkins understands. The Principality club are always in the market to sign young players domestically, even if they bring plenty through their own academy, too.

It is thought, however, that Monaco are not the only team interested in Detourbet, whose contract at Troyes runs until the summer of 2028.
