Barça have signed 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu, who will train under Hansi Flick with the first team and play for Juliano Belletti’s Barcelona Atlètic.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Barça and Club Brujas have finalised the move, and Bisiwu, born on 22 January 2008 to a family of Ghanaian descent, visited Sant Joan Despí to meet Deco and sign.

The fee is understood to be 8.5 million euros, with add-ons linked to his development and a sell-on percentage for Brujas. He has agreed a five-season contract to 2031 and travelled to Birmingham to begin training.

Barça identified Bisiwu at the 2025 European Under-17 Championship, where the left-footed, 1.85 m winger impressed and made the team of the tournament.

He started at Lovaina from 2014 to 2020 before moving to the Brujas academy. He played in the Youth League, scoring three goals with one assist last season, and featured in the Belgian second tier for Club NXT. He is a Belgium international.
