Barcelona appear to be widening their scouting net once again, and this time their attention has turned to one of Poland’s most exciting young prospects.
According to a report from SPORT, the club are monitoring Oskar Pietuszewski, the 17-year-old left winger currently making waves at Jagiellonia.
The teenager has emerged as one of the brightest players in Polish football, and his rapid growth has alerted several top European teams, including the Blaugrana.
Pietuszewski’s numbers this season underline why interest in him is accelerating.
Across nearly 20 competitive appearances, the young winger has scored three goals and provided two assists.
While those figures may not immediately resemble superstar output, his performances have stood out because of what he offers beyond statistics.

Operating primarily on the left but adaptable across the attack, Pietuszewski is known for his physical power, direct dribbling style, and impressive ability to win one-on-one duels.
Barcelona have been following him closely for months. Scouts from the Catalan club have travelled to several of Jagiellonia’s Conference League fixtures to gather detailed reports.
They are far from the only European heavyweight keeping tabs on him, however, as competition is expected to be fierce for a player viewed as one of the future stars of Polish football.
For now, Pietuszewski and his representatives have agreed that he will remain at Jagiellonia until the end of the season, turning 18 by the time the summer transfer window opens.
Even so, Barcelona are unlikely to enter a bidding war. Their intention, according to internal assessments, is to sign him as a high-upside prospect who would initially join Barça Atlètic to gain experience before attempting the leap to the first team.
The reports gathered so far are described as excellent, but the club have not yet made a final decision.
