In the absence of Raphinha, England international Marcus Rashford is expected to start for Barcelona when they face reigning UEFA Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
Raphinha isn’t the only high-profile absence for Barcelona. The Catalan club will have to rely on their third-choice goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, with both Joan García and Marc-André ter Stegen out with injuries.
In midfield, La Blaugrana will also be without Gavi and Fermin Lopez. It means that Frenkie De Jong and Pedri will start in the deeper midfield roles, with Dani Olmo expected to play as the No.10. Having already recovered from an injury issue of his own, Lamine Yamal will start on the left, with Ferran Torres leading the line for Hansi Flick’s side, against PSG.
