Barcelona star Raphinha was one of only two players in Europe’s top-five leagues to hit an altogether impressive benchmark when it comes to goals and assists this past season.

That’s according to statisticians Opta, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course fresh off bringing to a close a spectacular campaign in 2024/25.

Looking rejuvenated in the all-action setup of the aforementioned Hansi Flick, the Brazilian racked up a remarkable 59 direct goal contributions in 57 appearances across all competitions.

And it was precisely such production which, as alluded to above, secured for Raphinha a place in an altogether exclusive club…

As revealed by statisticians Opta, the former Leeds United standout is one of just two players to have racked up 20+ goals and 20+ assists in all competitions amongst those from Europe’s top-five leagues.

He finished with 34 and 22 in the respective categories (transfermarkt credit Raphinha with three assists more), enough to join Mo Salah as the only other player to have hit the 20/20 mark.
