Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal continues to make headlines with his electric form in front of goal.
The 18-year-old forward has been unstoppable in recent weeks, registering three goals and one assist in his last four appearances.
Now, as Barcelona gear up to face Celta Vigo, Yamal will be aiming to tick off a personal milestone that has so far eluded him – scoring against the La Liga side.
Despite his young age, Yamal has already proven himself to be one of La Liga’s most exciting attackers.
After struggling at the start of the campaign with pubalgia discomfort, the Barcelona academy graduate has found his rhythm once again.
Each match has shown glimpses of the confident, fearless player who burst onto the scene.
Although he is still not completely free of physical discomfort, Yamal is currently enjoying one of the most productive spells of his career, with five goals and six assists in ten games.
Barcelona’s visit to Balaidos offers Yamal another opportunity to add to his growing list of records.

In three previous encounters with Celta Vigo, the youngster has provided three assists, one at Montjuic last season and two in Vigo during the 2023/24 campaign, but a goal has always escaped him.
Today, he will be determined to change that.
At just 18, Yamal has already scored against 13 of the 19 La Liga teams he has faced.
His list of “unfinished business” includes Celta Vigo, as well as Getafe, Alaves, Sevilla, Levante, and Oviedo.
He already managed an assist against Levante but missed the chance to face Oviedo due to injury.
Meanwhile, he has found the net against Elche, another of this season’s newly promoted clubs.
If recent performances are any indication, Yamal seems destined to add another chapter to his growing legend and Celta Vigo could be the next to feel the full force of Barcelona’s young prodigy.
