Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Dean Huijsen as part of their efforts to strengthen their defense, but the Spanish center-back ended up joining AFC Bournemouth. If PSG targets him again, they’ll face intense competition.

PSG did add Willian Pacho to their defense, but with Milan Skriniar likely to make his loan to Fenerbahçe permanent, they may be looking for another center-back this summer.

Huijsen has continued to impress in the Premier League, putting in consistent performances and receiving plenty of praise. His strong form has caught the eye of several top clubs.

If PSG sees Huijsen as the answer to their defensive concerns, they must prepare for a tough transfer battle. However, one prominent club isn’t ready to enter a bidding war just yet.

One less suitor for Dean Huijsen this summer?

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Bayern Munich are interested in Huijsen as a potential center-back and has been gathering information about him.

Nonetheless, nothing is set in stone yet. He isn’t a priority for the summer transfer window right now, mainly because he’s considered too expensive. The Bavarian side are focusing on other needs, including Florian Wirtz, one or two new wingers, and a backup for Harry Kane.

A recent report from CaughtOffside states that Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all interested in 19-year-old Huijsen.

He has a release clause of around £50 million, but that amount could increase if he signs a new contract with Bournemouth.
