Bayern Munich's January signing Bara Sapoko Ndiaye has suffered an injury in training, according to Sky Germany.
The 18-year-old is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks with a capsule problem, the report states.
Ndiaye joined Bayern on an initial loan deal for the rest of the season from Gambinos Stars Africa at the start of January.
“We have a partnership with the Gambino Stars. He has visited us several times and has even trained with the U23s and the first team. Now he will be with us for the next six months to adapt to the European level and further develop his qualities,” said Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund back then.
“He'll initially train with the first team, and we'll see where he can get some playing time – maybe in friendlies with both the U23 and U19 teams. Due to strict FIFA regulations, he's not allowed to play competitive matches for the U23 or U19 teams in that age group. The most important thing right now is acclimatization. Bara is a very talented player we want to get to know better.”
