Ben White will miss the rest of Arsenal's season, including the Champions League final against PSG on 30 May at 18:00. The club said in a statement on Tuesday that the right-back has ligament damage in his right knee.

He was forced off during the 1-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.

He will also miss Arsenal's final two Premier League matches, Burnley on Monday and Crystal Palace on 24 May.

First-choice in the role, Jurrien Timber, has been out with an ankle problem since mid-March.

White, 28, has struggled with injuries over the past 18 months, including a three-month knee lay-off in 2024-2025 followed by minor setbacks. His latest issue leaves his World Cup prospects with England in doubt, with the tournament scheduled from 11 June to 19 July. He only returned to the squad in March, his first call-up since the 2022 World Cup.
