Benfica are shaping plans for next season and have opened the door to a possible exit for Vangelis Pavlidis.

Record reports that the club’s top scorer this season is no longer considered untouchable, with Benfica’s board, led by Rui Costa, prepared to negotiate if offers meet the club’s valuation. The club are also looking to strengthen their attack, with Felipe Augusto under consideration.

Interest has emerged from Bundesliga clubs, although no formal bids have arrived. Pavlidis previously spent time in Germany with Bochum at youth level.

The 27-year-old has been monitored by leading sides in Europe, including Roma and Newcastle. The most advanced approach came from Al Hilal in the winter window, which Benfica swiftly rejected.

This season he has made 51 appearances for Benfica, 31 in the league, 14 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 4,125 minutes he has scored 29 goals and provided five assists. He is valued at 32 million euros.
