Manchester United players do not need to report until 9.45 am for training at Carrington, but Benjamin Sesko is in at 8.00 am most mornings, according to the Telegraph.
He will often jump into the hyperbaric chamber upon arrival for training, which helps him increase the amount of oxygen in his bloodstream and also prepares his muscles for the day’s activities.
Sesko also stays behind when most of his teammates leave after training. He often undertakes a very long post-training session, which includes massages, sauna and ice baths.
Man United view the 22-year-old as a consummate professional, and they hope he will develop into a world-class talent.
Sesko has bagged two goals and one assist in 12 games since joining the Red Devils last summer.
However, Man United staff have stressed how much of an upgrade he is on Rasmus Hojlund, brushing off his initial struggles in front of goal.
The Slovenian international has drawn praise from the coaches for his awareness, ball-winning abilities and distribution, and they expect him to come good soon.
Man United paid RB Leipzig £73.7 million to sign Sesko, and all eyes are on him following a slow start.
He picked up a knee injury in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and was spotted limping heavily after the game.
Fortunately, the injury is not serious, but it is unclear if he will be available when action resumes after the international break.
Sesko was in fine form in Germany, notching 39 goals and eight assists in 87 games across two seasons, and the onus is now on him to replicate that form in England.
He has been working hard behind the scenes as he looks to prove his worth in the Premier League, and the results should soon be evident on the pitch.
