West Ham are set to sack Julen Lopetegui with Graham Potter to take over.

The club have held meetings today following a reported fallout between the Head Coach Lopetegui and Technical Director Tim Steidten.

It appears this latest development is now the final straw for the club’s hierarchy, with Karren Brady understood to be pushing for David Sullivan to bring in Potter as the disastrous season continues in east London.

Although as of yet Lopetegui remains at the helm, with Sullivan advising that the Spaniard is on borrowed time – it’s understood the club are set to sack Lopetegui soon.

The former Wolves boss has been a poor apppuntemnt from the start, with a dreadful pre-season campaign which never recovered, as his bizarre tactics easily exposed from the outset.

Relationships with players and now Steidten have broken down, as the club now pay the price for appointing a cheaper option as opposed to a Head Coach who fitted the model and club itself.

Graham Potter is expected to step in, however the time scales on the sequence events still appear uncertain, as the club continue to demonstrate a terrible culture of indecisiveness.
