Hellas Verona striker Giovane has had a great start to the season with one goal and three assists, but the Gialloblu feel it’s still too early to determine his price tag.

Verona striker Giovane has naturally been linked with top clubs in Serie A as the 21-year-old has scored one goal and provided three assists in his first 10 appearances in Italy’s top flight.

Two things to consider regarding Giovane’s future

Giovane will turn 22 in just a few days, but before assuming he’ll join a top club in the future, two things must be assessed.

First of all, his price tag is not €10m as Verona will be looking for a higher transfer fee in the coming months.

At the same time, however, the Gialloblu are in no rush to sell the Brazilian starlet as they are involved in the race for survival this season, so they haven’t yet held talks with any club.

Verona yet to decide on Giovane’s price tag

Giovane’s price tag will exceed €10m, but Verona haven’t yet set a precise asking price as the club are also convinced that the striker’s performances will further improve in the future.

Giovane joined Verona last summer from Corinthians, practically on a free transfer.
