Bruno Henrique hails Flamengo after completing 350 games

Flamengo thrashed Sampaio Corrêa 7-1 in the sixth round of the Carioca on Saturday, as captain Bruno Henrique made his 350th appearance for the club. The player said in a post that it was a special night.

He struck twice. After duelling a defender, the loose ball fell to Samuel Lino, who returned it for him to score Flamengo’s third. He then converted a penalty after Wallace Yan was fouled, before adding the seventh and final goal after two touches.

At Flamengo since 2019, Bruno Henrique has 112 goals in 350 matches and 55 assists. That totals 167 direct goal contributions.

Alongside Arrascaeta, he is the club’s most decorated player, the pair having won 19 titles with Flamengo to date.

With Bruno Henrique available, Flamengo now turn to Tuesday’s trip to Vitória in the third round of the Brasileirão at Barradão, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.
