Tunisia has just been held to a 1-1 draw by Tanzania in a match counting for the third and final day of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025).
The Carthage Eagles opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a penalty converted by Ismaël Gharbi, before Feisal Salum brought the sides level in the 48th minute.
With 4 points to their name, Tunisia finishes second in Group C, five points behind Nigeria, who defeated Uganda 3-1.
In the round of 16, the North African side will lock horns with Mali, the runners-up in Group A behind Morocco.
The group stage will conclude on Wednesday with the last matches from Groups E and F.
