Canada v Bosnia and Herzegovina line-ups confirmed, Edin Džeko on bench

According to BuLi News, Edin Džeko is among the substitutes as Bosnia and Herzegovina begin their first World Cup since 2014 against co-hosts Canada.
The co-hosts are chasing their first ever point, while Sergej Barbarez hopes to become the first coach to lead his nation into the knockout stages.
The former Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburger SV forward has several Bundesliga names in his XI. Nikola Vasilj, relegated with St. Pauli to 2. Bundesliga, starts in goal and Stuttgart’s Ermedin Demirović leads the line.
Nikola Katić, Džeko’s Schalke team-mate, also starts, while Sead Kolašinac wears the armband in the striker’s absence.
Bayer Leverkusen’s future star Kerim Alajbegović and Karlsruhe midfielder Dženis Burnić are on the bench. Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Haris Tabaković and Canada captain Alphonso Davies miss out through injury. Former RB Leipzig boss Jesse Marsch is Canada’s coach.
