Picking up yellow cards is part and parcel of competing in the Premier League but some players are more familiar with the officials than others. But which names have gone into the referees' book most often this season?
Joao Gomes - Wolves (9)
It's been a pretty miserable season forWolves. A record winless start to the season has left Wolves needing a miracle to avoid relegation, even amid a recent mini-revival that included a win over champions Liverpool in midweek.
It's perhaps unsurprising then that Joao Gomes makes this list, with frustrations having been plentiful at Molineux in 2025-26. Just two players in the Premier League - Joao Palhinha and Florentino Luis - have averaged more tackles per 90 minutes than the 25-year-old this season.
Andre - Wolves (9)
Gomes' midfield partner at Molineux also makes the list. Andre arrived in the Premier League with a growing reputation, having been the enforcer in Fluminense's2023 Copa Libertadores triumph.
The Brazilian's certainly not one to shirk a challenge and has picked up nine yellow cards this season as a result.
Lewis Dunk - Brighton (9)
Lewis Dunk's disciplinary record has been particularly poor this season with the Seagulls skipper booked nine times in the Premier League.
It's the highest return of the veteran's top-flight career, though he did pick up a whopping 12 bookings during the 2016-17 season, whenBrighton were promoted from the Championship.
Yerson Mosquera - Wolves (9)
It's a hat-trick for Wolves, with Yerson Mosquera joining teammates Gomes and Andre among the most booked players in the Premier League.
The Colombian's record is even more 'impressive', given he's started just 18 games, playing far fewer minutes than the other names on this list.
On average, Mosquera has been booked every 180 minutes.
