Cartwright strikes from bench as Falkirk down Motherwell | OneFootball

Falkirk beat Motherwell 1-0 at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday to remain sixth in the Championship group.

In the 63rd minute, Henry Cartwright, moments after coming on, slotted a left-footed finish into the bottom left from Ben Broggio's through ball on the break.

Nicky Hogarth kept The Bairns level before the interval with three saves, thwarting Tom Sparrow and Stephen O'Donnell and then denying Emmanuel Longelo.

After that change, The Bairns threatened again, with Kyrell Wilson drawing a high save from Calum Ward (81.).

Four minutes of added time were indicated, and Stephen Welsh headed wide in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time.
