Liam Rosenior speaks to Chelsea TV.

But as Nizaar Kinsella pointed out in his article post game, there is still also a weakness remaining from the Maresca era:

“However, a key vulnerability remains: set-pieces. Since Rosenior joined Chelsea, all five goals they have conceded have come from set-plays – one long throw-in, one deep free-kick and three corners.”

It’s something that we need to work on, but it’s also just the reality of the game at large in the Premier League. Lots of teams, from Arsenal at the top of the league all the way down, are focusing on a strong defence and set pieces to get ahead.

Chelsea need to up their game to guard against it, but there’s also a limit to what they can do about it while training time is so limited. Rosenior will be have seen exactly where these goals are coming from, and fixing it will be at the top of his priority list.
