Chelsea face a triple injury concern before Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United at Wembley, with Estevao leaving the pitch in tears.

Both sides are set for a third game in nine days, Leeds visiting Bournemouth on Wednesday and Chelsea at Fulham on Tuesday. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the Wembley tie is for a place in the final.

The Blues lost 1-0 as Matheus Cunha scored the only goal, a match that brought two fresh issues after an initial absentee.

Joao Pedro was ruled out before kick-off with a thigh problem, with hopes he could return for Tuesday’s trip to Craven Cottage. During the game, 18-year-old Estevao was forced off within minutes and regular captain Enzo Fernandez was withdrawn with two minutes remaining.

Post-match, Rosenior said Estevao appeared to have injured his hamstring and was in tears at half-time, describing the situation as devastating, and he hoped the teenager would be back sooner rather than later. He added that Fernandez’s issue seemed to be his calf, and he was hoping it was cramp as they want him fit for Tuesday against Brighton and Hove Albion.
