City learn FA Cup fifth round fate | OneFootball

Manchester City will host Sheffield United in the fifth round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

We last faced the Blades in the FA Cup fourth round back in 2022/23, winning 7-0 at the Joie Stadium.

Our opponents currently sit ninth in WSL 2, with our latest clash set to take place over the weekend of 21/22 February.

City booked our spot in the Round of 16 with a 6-0 win over AFC Bournemouth, with a brace apiece from Vivianne Miedema and Laura Coombs following strikes from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Lauren Hemp.

It extended the Blues’ winning run to nine in all competitions, while we’ve now gone 16 games without defeat.

City have won the famous competition three times in our history, most recently in 2020.

We reached last season’s semi-finals, before bowing out to Manchester United at the Joie Stadium.
