Coletivo Voz Corinthiana have suspended their day-to-day activities around Corinthians, saying the online debate has become increasingly toxic. The collective said in a statement that the pause was announced on social media on Tuesday night.
Active on political matters at Parque São Jorge, the group cited personal attacks, threats and polarisation in digital spaces. It also noted that, although only three members are club associates, outside narratives tried to link it to the status quo at the club.
Defending its record, the collective cited four moves, including complaints against former presidents Andrés Sanchez, expelled as a member, and Duilio Monteiro Alves, who resigned, plus a court action to secure a member vote on the statutory reform base text after Deliberative Council rejection.
It also requested that São Paulo public prosecutors pursue judicial intervention across all arms of the club and measures to enact the reform, and opposed chapa 82’s stance in court and in the council, describing it as archaic and against professionalisation and democratisation.
Hours before the announcement, the collective released a technical legal review of SAFiel’s new proposal to convert Corinthians into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol, warning of risks, gaps, legal inconsistencies and conceptual distortions.
The group was among the most active in the reform process, which held 10 public hearings from December 2025 to February, and it published three papers in June on potential changes. It said the pause is for protection, including physical safety, not surrender, and maintained that change depends on democratisation and professionalisation led by qualified supporter involvement, while arguing the status quo has stalled progress and could still hinder the reform, any court action and a rushed SAFiel decision.
