Corinthians have faced Gobi once this year, drawing with São Paulo at Neo Química Arena. In 2025 they had two matches under him, a win over Noroeste and a draw with Mirassol.

Across all appointments with Gobi, Corinthians record six wins, two draws and three defeats. He has awarded one penalty against the club and shown them 25 yellow cards.

Earlier in this Paulistão, Gobi was embroiled in controversy during São Paulo versus Santos after he verbally offended a Santos player. The match was briefly halted, then continued as normal.
