Corinthians announce Jesse Lingard to 2026, Donelli loan unresolved as Cori questions statute vote | OneFootball

Jesse Lingard was unveiled by Corinthians on Friday, signing a deal that runs until the end of 2026.

On 6 February, Corinthians authorised goalkeeper Matheus Donelli to travel to the United Arab Emirates to finalise a loan to Shabab Al-Ahli, but a month on he has yet to be officially announced by the club.

Cori sent a letter to the president of the Deliberative Council stating that the draft statute reform is not in a condition to be fully voted on and approved next Monday.

In futsal, Corinthians drew 1-1 with Carlos Barbosa, their first goal of the season coming from right-sided winger Maicon. They also lost 4-2 to Praia Clube on Friday night in the second round of the Super Copa Gramado de Futsal.

Corinthians will have three representatives at the 2026 edition of the Novo Basquete Brasil, with guard Elinho, guard-forward Elyjah Clark and centre Kauan Raymundo selected for the event.

The Englishman will wear number 77, becoming the seventh foreign player in the current squad and the 88th in more than 115 years of the club’s history.
