Corinthians: Brasileirão tie, women's debut, Paulistão finale

Corinthians had a frustrating weekend of results, suffering a penalty shootout loss to Palmeiras in the Women’s Supercup and another defeat to their rivals in the seventh round of the Paulista Championship. Now, the Alvinegro Paulista will have a week with new focuses.

The first commitment of the week, however, will be with the basketball team. This Monday, the 9th, Corinthians takes the court at Ginásio Wlamir Marques at 8:00 PM (Brasília time) to face Unifacisa in the 26th round of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB).

After two days without commitments, Corinthians will have a match in the Brazilian Championship on Thursday (12th), at 8:00 PM (Brasília time), when the team faces Red Bull Bragantino at Neo Química Arena. The match is valid for the third round of the competition, even though Timão has played only one game in the tournament so far.

Then on Friday (13th), it’s time for the women’s team to make their debut in the Brasileirão. At 9:00 PM (Brasília time), the Brabas visit Atlético-MG at Arena MRV, in a match valid for the first round of the national competition.

To close out the week, the men’s team returns to the field, this time for the eighth and final round of the first phase of the Paulista Championship. On Sunday (15th), Timão faces São Bernardo at Estádio 1° de Maio, at 8:30 PM (Brasília time).
