Corinthians ended the first week of training after the World Cup pause, and were without defender Agustina Barroso and goalkeeper Lelê.
The club said in a statement that Agustina has begun a physical readaptation programme with the Health and Performance unit after time out with injuries.
At the start of the season, the 33-year-old had a recurrent contracture and scarring in the left soleus, which ruled her out of the Copa das Campeãs, the Women's Club World Cup. In April she again felt discomfort in the area during the final stage of her return. She has yet to re-debut for Timão in 2026.
Lelê has a tendinopathy in the back of her right thigh and has started treatment. She opened the season as first choice under Lucas Piccinato and kept the shirt after Emily Lima arrived. She was on the bench for the final two games before the FIFA window.
While with Brazil, she started the 2-1 win over the United States at Neo Química Arena last Saturday. She went off on 37 minutes of the second half, replaced by Lorena, after feeling thigh discomfort. The issue kept her out of the second meeting with the Americans.
No return dates have been set for either player, leaving their availability uncertain for Corinthians' next outing. The team are due back on 17 July at 19:00 at Fazendinha, when they host Ferroviária in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.
